Welcome back

Yes, I know, it's been nearly a month. You can blame Facebook, blame my job, blame my kids, blame my wife, any number of things. Mostly, it boils down to not feeling like I had the free time to write. But tonight, Deborah is out having a "girls' night out," and the kids are in bed (if not necessarily sleeping...) so I'll see what i can do to correct that.

Hello again

Long time no post, eh? Truth is that this is very much a photo-driven blog; if I haven't taken a picture of it, chances are, I won't remember to write about it. I only finally got the last of my March pictures off the camera a few days ago; I'm downloading today's as I write — only a hundred or so to go. (Yeah, I took 113 pictures today alone. Back when I used film, this was an expensive proposition!)

So: More soon. I'm catching up!

Squeak, squeak, squeak...

Really. I'll post something here. Very soon. I have several posts almost ready to go, more than a thousand potential vacation photos, and many stories... it's just a matter of getting them out of my head. I have not forgotten you, dear readers!

Yes, it really has been a month since my last post

I'll catch up on my blogging. Really. Just as soon as I catch up on my sleep...

Now that Risanna is more-or-less reliably sleeping six hours each night, life is starting to resemble "normal" again. I've just started my Christmas shopping. I've got a big backlog of photos I want to put up here. Bear with me, I'll get there!

My excuse is...

I haven't blogged in more than two weeks. Shame on me. It's not that I haven't had anything to say. My only excuse is that I have discovered Facebook, and I've been having fun re-connecting with people that way. I've found several dozen people that I had no idea how to get in contact with otherwise, and another few dozen that I'd forgotten about. All the poking and sheep-throwing is kinda silly, but on the whole it's a fun place.
