The Whole Tooth, and Nothing But the Tooth

Fiona, with one front tooth:

See? It's loose!

Fiona, with no front teeth:

I think it swallowed.

Fiona, with... hey, wait a minute....

OK, I couldn't resist. (Not that I tried...) These are actually marshmallow bunny teeth that the kids got in an Easter basket.

What's the going rate for the Tooth Fairy these days?

I think first teeth are going for $5 and subsequent ones are a $1.

That is quite a smile she's got going on there. :-) I had that same smile for quite a while when I was her age. I remember it made eating hot dogs tricky.

I love the new pic at the top of your blog. Where was it taken?

I think the tooth fairy or her Costa Rican associate, Ratoncito, pays enough to buy a big candy bar, which isn't good for the new tooth.

Marti,

The photo was taken at Center Lake park, facing South. That's the Zimmer building in the background. We let out enough kite string that when the wind shifted, we almost landed it on top of the building!

Glad to see you posting again! $2 in our house - until you start laying traps for the tooth fairy in your room, in which case you get a "cease and desist" letter from the tooth fairy telling you that your tooth privileges are being cut off. Yes, it's hard having 2 lawyers for parents. :)
