Maybe that's why it seemed like news to me

About four weeks ago, I blogged about this article which was picked up by a number of news sources. I remember reading it and thinking, "Well, that is news to me..." and apparently I had good reason. The Encyclopaedia Iranica Foundation has posted a rebuttal here (PDF, 156k).
