We stayed up talking until nearly 2 in the morning, by which time we were all so silly that we were laughing at anything and everything. The luggage fairies showed up around 3 a.m. — two
way too cheerful ladies in a Dodge Magnum appeared to swap our car seats for theirs and drop off our luggage — but not Paul and May's, oddly enough. They were back again an hour later once they discovered that the lost baggage office had mis-typed the address for Paul and May's claim, despite the fact that they were right behind us in line to make the claim. Oddities aside, it was good to see it all again.
